The result is a robust and powerful engine, delivering up to 600kW per cylinder, with world class efficiency and reduced life-cycle costs. Our latest engine series is built on more than 70 years of experience.

Our legacy, with all its valuable knowledge and experience, has been an important foundation for the development and testing of new technologies. The B33:45 liquid fuel engine is designed to produce up to 12 MW of mechanical power with optimised combustion technology and excellent load responsiveness. The design has been driven by stringent requirements for lower exhaust emissions, highest possible electrical and heat recovery efficiency, coupled with extreme reliability.

Our power solutions enable the shift towards net zero carbon.

We do this by ensuring the flexibility of our engines, allowing them to run on various fuel types as the fuel availability landscape transitions towards lower carbon fuels. The modular architecture of our engines allows for reconfiguration of the engines' combustion systems.
Our engines typically operate for between 20 to 25 years, and the modular architecture ensures that a gas or liquid fuel engine purchased today, will be just as relevant in one or two decades.

Long Term Service Agreements

We believe in standing by our customers throughout the entire service life of their equipment.

It’s for this reason that more than 80% of our operating plants around the world are covered by Long Term Service Agreements (LTSA), through which our highly trained and experienced service engineers provide both planned and unplanned service support. In fact, many of our customers have relied on us for more than 20 years - a testament to our LTSA philosophy.

Remote monitoring

A single Bergen medium-speed engine can have more than 200 sensors transmitting a vast amount of data that measures all aspects of an engine’s health and performance at any given moment.

Data analytics, A.I and deep learning combine to give you real-time insights into your equipment using our Equipment Health Monitoring system (EHM).
