Revenues for the period were \u20ac814.6 million. Consolidated cash at the year end stood at \u20ac291.0 million and net assets \u20ac835.7 million.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.langleyholdings.com\/en-GB\/documents\/7975\/key-highlights-chairman-s-review-2021.pdf\">Key Highlights &amp; Chairman\u2019s Review 2021<\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.langleyholdings.com\/en-GB\/documents\/7976\/full-ifrs-annual-report-accounts-2021.pdf\">Full IFRS Annual Report &amp; Accounts 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The group reported that on 31 December it had acquired Norwegian engine builder, Bergen Engines AS, together with overseas subsidiaries, from Rolls-Royce plc for \u20ac91 million in cash.<\/p>\n<p>In his Chairman\u2019s Review of the business, Mr Tony Langley said that order intake had reached \u201crecord levels across the group\u201d and that [the] \u201cacquisition of Bergen Engines from Rolls-Royce represents a seminal moment\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Bergen Engines, which builds large gas and liquid fuelled engines for marine and land based power generation applications, is to become \u201c\u2026 a central pillar of the group\u2019s net zero strategy\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Bergen Engines will become the core of a newly formed Power Solutions Division that will pursue opportunities in the rapidly developing microgrid sector, along with Piller Power Systems, the group\u2019s German power stabilisation specialist and; Marelli Motori, the Italian electric motors and generators producer.<\/p>\n<p>Orders on hand increased significantly during 2021 culminating in a backlog of almost \u20ac800 million at the year-end.<\/p>\n<p>Langley is expecting a \u201cstep change\u201d in 2022 with revenues reaching \u20ac1.3 billion, of which \u20ac600 million from Power Solutions, \u20ac400 million from Print Technologies and \u20ac300 million from the Other Industrials divisions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>About Langley Holdings<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Langley Holdings plc is a privately owned UK based engineering and industrial manufacturing group, principally producing capital equipment to diverse markets worldwide.<\/p>\n<p>Langley businesses are either outright market leaders, or occupy strong niche positions in their respective fields, providing advanced technologies in a solutions-based approach.
