Langley Holdings to Showcase Grid-Free Power Solutions for AI-Driven Data Centres at Data Centre World Paris
5–6 November | Paris Expo Porte de Versailles | Stand D20
Langley Holdings’ Power Solutions Division will unveil next-generation, grid-free, behind-the-meter power systems engineered specifically for the emerging era of AI-driven computing, at Data Centre World Paris this November.
As global demand for high-density AI computing accelerates, the industry faces one of its most pressing challenges: delivering reliable, sustainable, high-performance power at scale. Langley Holdings is uniquely positioned to meet this challenge, backed by three of the world’s most trusted names in mission-critical energy systems:
- Bergen Engines (formerly Riolls-Royce Bergen Engines) – high-efficiency power generation
- Marelli Motori – industrial-grade electric motors and generators
- Piller Power Systems – advanced power conditioning & energy storage
Together, these companies form a powerhouse of innovation delivering resilient, independent energy infrastructure designed to support AI workloads and advanced data centre environments.
“AI compute growth is redefining power requirements across the global data centre landscape,” said William Langley, Main Board Director, Langley Holdings. “Our solutions empower operators to scale securely and sustainably, without depending solely on the grid.”

About Power Solutions
The Langley Holdings Power Solutions Division comprises Bergen Engines, the Norwegian medium-speed engine builder acquired from Rolls-Royce in December 2021; Marelli Motori, the Italian producer of electric motors and generators, part of the Group since May 2019; and Piller Group, Europe’s leading producer of critical power conditioning, stabilization and backup systems, based in Germany and celebrating 20 years of Langley stewardship this year. In 2024, the Division accounted for approximately half of the Group’s $1.5bn revenues and 5000+ employees.
About Bergen Engines
Bergen Engines produces medium-speed liquid and gas fueled engines and generator sets are supplied to a broad range of land-based, commercial marine, and naval applications. The Bergen name is a watchword for quality and reliability in its field.
The tradition of engineering in Bergen, Norway, dates to 1855 when the original company Bergen Mekaniske Verksted (BMV) was founded. In 1946, the company built its first diesel engine and has since commissioned over 7,500 of its iconic liquid and gas fueled engines. Around half of them are still in operation today; such is the quality and reliability of a Bergen engine. Formerly Rolls-Royce Bergen Engines, on 31st December 2021, the company became part of the privately owned British engineering group, Langley Holdings plc.
