Querétaro, Qro. September 7, 2026. – On August 7, Bergen Engines Mexico welcomed Adriana Rivera, Executive Director of the Mexican Association of Data Centers (AMEXDC), to its Querétaro Service Center, marking an important step in strengthening engagement with Mexico’s rapidly expanding data center sector.
The meeting was attended by Aldrich Richter, Managing Director Latam; Theo Lorentzos, VP Sales, Americas; and Gerardo Melendez, Business Development Manager Latam, with discussions focused on the rapid growth of data center infrastructure and the increasing requirement for reliable and scalable power.
Mexico currently has approximately 280 MW of installed data center capacity, with around 72% concentrated in Querétaro. Industry projections indicate that Querétaro could reach approximately 1.3 GW by 2031, driven by continued investment in cloud infrastructure, digitalization and increasing artificial intelligence and high-density computing.
Strengthening the Partnership with AMEXDC
The meeting also established the foundations for a closer relationship with AMEXDC, with Bergen Engines Mexico becoming an active partner of the Association and participating in its Energy Board and strategic industry activities.

With Mexico’s data center market moving towards gigawatt-scale growth, the engagement with AMEXDC represents an important step in positioning Bergen Engines and Langley Holdings Power Division to support the evolving power requirements of this rapidly developing sector.
