Proven Performance, Chosen Again
Nexans Electra builds on the design of its sister ship Nexans Aurora, serving as a highly capable DP3 cable laying vessel. The ship is engineered to transport, lay, recover, and repair high-voltage subsea cables in challenging offshore conditions.
Electra’s operational profile covers a wide range of tasks, including cable bundle installation, recovery operations, cable jointing, repair, and trenching. The vessel is designed to operate in rough seas while maintaining precise station-keeping, essential for complex offshore work and the integrity of subsea infrastructure.
