Querétaro, Mexico – 4 June – Bergen Engines Mexico was pleased to welcome Norwegian Ambassador to Mexico, Dag Nylander, together with Patricia Guzmán, Political and Business Advisor to the Ambassador, to the Bergen Engines Querétaro Service Center as part of an ongoing dialogue on energy, industrial growth, and sustainable power generation in the region.
The visit followed Bergen Engines Mexico’s participation in the Querétaro Energy Gas Forum, where industry leaders, policymakers, and energy specialists discussed the pivotal role natural gas plays in supporting Mexico’s growing power needs.
The forum highlighted the increasing energy demands of industrial parks in Querétaro and across the country, as well as the importance of the reliable, cost-effective power generation solutions that natural gas offers.
Following the forum, Ambassador Nylander and his aide visited the Bergen Engines Querétaro Service Center, where they met with the Bergen Engines Mexico team and received an overview of the company’s operations, service capabilities, and growing activities across Mexico and Latin America.
The visit provided an opportunity to strengthen the conversation between Norway and Mexico around shared energy priorities. Both countries face the challenge of balancing energy security, industrial development, and the transition toward lower-emission power solutions.
