Cannes – 10 June, 2026 . Thank you to everyone who visited us at Datacloud Global Congress 2026 in Cannes on the beautiful French Riviera last week.
The event marked the first anniversary of our entry into behind-the-meter (BTM) power for AI infrastructure.
And what a year it has been!
Watch our video highlights:
At Datacloud Congress 2025 we signed our first contract for a 300MW Bergen Engines / Marelli Motori gas-fired generator solution, along with Piller stabilisation technology.
Twelve months on, the “Power Guys”, as the team were dubbed at last year’s show, have signed over 3GW of BTM power deals for AI data centers across the USA.
This reflects the accelerating demand for alternative power solutions as traditional grid infrastructure struggles to keep pace with AI growth.
And the momentum continues to build. Today, our development pipeline exceeds tens of GW of AI data center power opportunities, underscoring both the scale of demand and the critical need for BTM solutions.
To meet this demand we are expanding production capacity at our factories in Norway, Italy and Germany to produce upwards of 2GW of BTM power from 2028.
Production of our Bergen B36:45V20 12.5MW engines solution is now sold out until Q2 2028. Next build slots are being released in the fall.
As the AI revolution continues to reshape the world we live in, access to power has become the defining constraint.
Our BTM solution helps remove that constraint, providing scalable premium power, independent of the grid.
We are grateful to our customers, partners and industry colleagues who have supported this journey over the past year.
The conversations and enthusiasm at Datacloud Global Congress 2026 reinforce our belief that our BTM solution will play a pivotal role in enabling the future of AI.
We look forward to continuing that journey together.
